Pisgah Presbyterian Church is proud to offer many ministry programs to our community. We love seeing people come together to worship God, and we make sure that everyone has the opportunity to be involved if they would like to be.

Worship

Held weekly at 11:00a, at Pisgah Presbyterian Church. Our worship is a mix of traditional and contemporary worship. Sinch COVID-19 hit in March of 2020, congregations have been recorded and we broadcast our weekly feel hour of service on our shared Youtube Channel, NRG & Pisgah Service.

Sunday School

Classes begin at 10:00am, an hour before Sunday Worship. We have classes for all ages, including an adult class.

Life After Loss Program

In partnership with “Women at the Well” Pisgah Presbyterian started a new program called “Life After Loss” which provide 6 to 7 sessions of counseling to people who lost a loved one. This is also include people suffers other kind of loses such as job, partnership, and marriage relationship. It is being held twice a year, one in the fall and another in summer. Session meets at the Fellowship Hall at 5:30 pm and ends at 7:30 pm. Dinner is provided every week. Registration is required in advance and members are required to attend all meeting. It is one of the most effective healing and recovery ministries of the church at this time.

Care Committee

Pisgah Care Committee is made up of women of the church.   We meet monthly to make cards to be sent to members of the congregation and community.  These maybe Birthday, Anniversary, Thinking of You, Get Well and Sympathy.  We have also helped with delivering meals during the pandemic and hlep with dinners and the clothing give away.   Smiling faces are always welcome to join our group.  You need not be expecially talented to make cards.  The materials are available and every card is appreciated. We enjoy our fellowship time as well as the snacks.

Pisgah's Fellowship Facility

Pisgah has a beautiful building and a large beautiful fellowship hall that are being utilized by several occasion and made available for wedding, funeral and any social accusation for the Corsica Community and beyond. It is more of a ministry of sharing what we have rather than a business. Please, see pictures of the fellowship and how to reserve the fellowship in the future.

Youth and Young Adult Programs

In 2020 the Youth and Young Adult Leadership Team (YALT) at Pisgah Presbyterian envisioned a monthly gathering for youth and their family and they called it the Youth Fund Club or (YFC). It is a gathering of community youth and their family for dinner and couple of hours of fund activities that may include movie night, game night or parents night out activities. This is a work in progress and it did slow down little due to COVID but will continue in full speed soon and the plan to have this on a weekly basis in the near future.

Mid-Week Prayer and Bible Study

This is currently and due to COVID are provided once a month on the first Wednesday of each month at the Pastor’s residency. It focus on discussing hard questions or any other issue that may be rasied as a result of previous sermons.

Mission and Services to the Community and World

We provide many types of assistance including scholarships, meals on wheels, an annual Clothes Giveaway that serve over 500 people held at Pisgah each September, and more!
